subject: A Tortured Attitude Will Come With Designer Bags [print this page]

To some people, designer bags may mean that it's too big or it could mean that it's not fashionable enough for their style. As a teenager you have to understand how much money parents spend to get you want you want. Attitude is a big territory on this department, and that also means that no matter how ugly it is you still have to treat it with respect.

Your may not think you know anything by giving them something that they never asked for. You were once a teenage girl and this was something that you always wanted but never did get. When they open their gifts and see those beautiful bags right in front of their very eyes, they might not even be paying attention to you as you're giving them the speech.

In their ears, your words might sound like they're running together and then they look at you like your crazy when you ask them what you said. They may have the usual reaction that many teenagers give their moms, which is they start sucking up.

You and your husband might be able to scrape up some extra cash to get this one thing for. You have to let her know that it's not going to be a surprise since you're going to get it for her now. You also have to let her know that you do not want to see this bag on the floor just like all of her other purses. You can tell by the look on her face that she is trying really hard to be patiently waiting for you to finish speaking.

The speech might do the trick and that might be punishment enough having her listening to you ramble on and on for twenty minutes. You may get the excuse that she will never do it again and will research more closely next time. All teenagers use that and it never works. You may have thought of a better punishment to give her.

Once the purse arrives, of course she's going to wear it to school for a couple of days but that might be the end of that. After the first couple of days she might not see any of her friends wearing it and figures that the style must be out if no one is wearing it and it looks like all of her friends are wearing a new kind of purse.

Next time you might want to try reasoning with her and set up a compromise so she will understand what you went through to get that bag. Since she never wore that one, you might not want to get her anything else unless she promises to take care of it.

This situation may only happen to teenage girls who overlook what they're trying to search for. Other teenage girls may love designer bags that are big and would wear them every day just because it looks good with what they're wearing or they could be wearing it to impress other people.
