How To Find A Profitable Niche -- A Simple Solution

The first stages of learning how to succeed with affiliate marketing can be very rewarding; you've got a goal that seems to be within reach. Then you come across the topic of "keyword research" and everyone seems to agree that it's very important, along with "finding a profitable niche." But trying to DO your own keyword research becomes more and more confusing, until you feel like you're spinning your wheels in a very muddy pothole! If you're like most of us, you have already read ten different reports on keyword research and watched ten different videos that demonstrate "the right way" to find profitable keywords.

At this point it's pretty common to feel totally overwhelmed, and you're still no closer to a useful understanding of all that information. Maybe your brain is starting to absorb the whole notion of a niche market; you have grasped the importance of targeting specific keywords, but finding those keywords is beyond your skills and experience. Perhaps you have tried half-a-dozen free keyword research tools, or bought six different pieces of software that were guaranteed to automate your keyword research? These tools are all supposed to lead you to "keyword nirvana" -- an unlimited supply of profitable keywords for any niche, all in no time flat!

However, I have found out the hard way that "shortcuts" don't work -- the only way to get good at keyword research is by taking the time to learn and gain experience. If you've spent hours with Google and some keyword tool, trying to capture those elusive "high search volume-low competition" phrases, then you know what I mean. Finding a good keyword is also about knowing which ones will bring in traffic that is on the buying end of the cycle; people who are close to completing their research and will want to purchase a product or service.

It's a tiring and frustrating merry-go-round, isn't it? There are other essential steps to affiliate marketing that you need to start working on, but it will never happen while you're stuck in the keyword rut because you run out of time -- all the more if you only have "spare" time. How will you get hub pages or a Wordpress site built, put some articles out there, build some backlinks -- when there just aren't any more hours?

What you need is a SOLUTION to the problem of finding good quality keywords. What would happen if you woke up tomorrow and found a set of fifty or sixty targeted keywords in your email inbox -- and you're sure they come from a reliable source? In a couple of hours you could get a Squidoo lens off the ground, and then publish articles targeting one keyword at a time.

How fast you get your campaign up and running depends only on the time you can give to writing more articles and gaining expertise at it. With such a substantial keyword list to work from you wouldn't run out of possibilities for a long time. Now that sounds like a plan!
