The Checkerboard Coaching Technique sm and the Buffalo Bills November 2010

The Checkerboard Coaching Technique sm and the Buffalo Bills November 2010.

There has been a change at One Bills Drive in November of 2010. In November of 2010 fortunes for this no name team have changed. Suddenly or maybe not so suddenly the team is winning. Until November they lost every game. In their last game as of this writing in the second half of the game they scored 35 points. A break out game for any team in the NFL but for the Buffalo Bills it is almost considered an anomaly.

It is mentioned here and now to praise the team and the coaching staff. The Quarterback for the Bills had a new poise in the second half, that was always there. The receivers played their best game, the game that has always been in them. The offensive line, the defensive backs, the entire team seemed to in one half of football understand what they are capable of as a team and unit.

How does this teams performance relate to the Checkerboard Coaching Technique sm. It is an example of what any team on any given Sunday can achieve when they have a great game plan and work together. It would be the quintessential example. In pro sports today at the highest level, each team and staff has what the Buffalo Bills have. A capable management and coaching staff, a great fan base and most importantly professional players that are on this team because they have achieved the top level of play in their lives and in their game.

This team is a great example of the level of talent in the NFL and how every team with the right game plan, has the players on the team that can showcase their collective talents by winning big when they work together. Rebuilding is an excuse. Winning now is always possible at every level of pro sports with the talent teams have. If the Bills looked at November 2010 as the twenty percent of their season that accounted for eighty percent of their results, and they are able to duplicate the effort at every level, how many games will they win this season? It seems to me that if the team really understands what it was they have accomplished and how they did it, they can and will win more games. They should keep in mind that every team they face will review their wins, and devise ways to prevent them from gaining the yards they gained in those games. Seems simple enough. In November of 2010 the Bills made it look simple too.
