How Did You Waste Time Recently When You Could Have Been Developing Your MLM Business?

What did you do recently to build your business? Write it down. Now think about the amount of time spent on each item. Finally, check out your list and ask answer this question... did you do anything at all to really develop your business? Your response to that question is a significant reason most network marketers struggle to produce an increase in income.

If you really want to increase the size of your multi level business, you really need to zoom in on on one thing. Finding ways to get people to look at your web site. You can get the perfect opt-in web page, a professionally designed website, an amazing opt-in offer and brilliant copywriting, but if you don't have a huge number of folks to view your pages, it just does not matter. Do you genuinely want to help your business? The best way to help your business grow is to concentrate on the things you spend your time on.

These are the things that won't help you get traffic.

* Learning and reading

* Tweaking your pages

* Making your opt-in offer better

* Keeping your desk organized

* Surfing the web

* Answering emails

People new to network marketing certainly ought to spend a little more time studying, learning and setting up. The secret is that as you gather more education and experienced, you need to reduce the amount of timeinvolved. Seasoned marketers also need to continue their education. But, it is not nearly as much time as the newbie. I am certainly not saying that you must not invest time in these functions; I am saying that you shouldn't waste too much time on them. You must avoid them during your "prime time" work hours.

Discover Your Prime Time Working Hours

Nearly all of us will have limited time to work on our business. Generally there are two different blocks of time for you to spend on your business. There are blocks when you can very zoom in and produce results. There are also chunks of time where your focus has to be on several different things at once. Find your peak hours and ensure that you use this time on activities that build your business Then handle other things during the other hours when your attention is likely to be less targeted. One hint I saw in the last few days is to schedule your best working hours in small, 30 minute increments. Concentrate exclusively on things that will actually build up your business for thirty minutes, then allow life-stuff to creep in. Then concentrate for one more block of half an hour, then take a brief break, etc. Schedule as many targeted thirty minute sessions per week as you can

What Functions You Should Be Doing Within Your Best Working Hours

Too often people confuse being busy with working. One of the big reasons we all want a MLM business is because we get to be our own boss, right? That may sound like a good plan, but there is still a boss. It's you. It is your job to determine priorities, make decisions and make sure it gets done... like the boss at your real job does. This is what I mean... you can't just work to be working. Genuinely ponder what functions must get done... not what you want to do. Most of the time, these are not the same things. During your best working hours you must be contacting your prospects, working on videos and articles, etc. After you complete those things, then you can shift your focus to the other functions that need your attention.

Escape Information Overload

This is a big difficulty for network marketers and discuss it at every opportunity. We all recognize that the web is fabulous. Unfortunately, the internet also can steal a whole day from your life without giving you anything in return. The internet lets us to run a business from our homes. We could not have done that without it. The other side of the coin of that is that the internet is also a really, really big distraction. Playing online gives you great research resources, but how many hours/days did spend (i.e. waste) to obtain that single piece of data? When you are new to multi level, you need numerous sources to learn the ropes. When you're better educated, figure out which resources are the best for you and discard all of the rest. Removing most of the stuff from your inbox let's you concentrate more on things that will actually build up your business and less on just being busy.

Conclusion

Grow your multi level business during your best working hours. Work on everything else after you have posted to your blog, completed your articles and called your leads, etc. Then stay focused and avoid information overload by limiting your resources of your continuing education.

You can change your business and expand it into the booming income generator you always dreamed about.
