The advantages are obvious success if you ideally find those people who do fit the bill. However, there is a skillset which can make any business achieve more success. Two key factors in Prospecting are one's own confidence level and simply having the right people to talk to. This skillset is taught and can be applied to any business or product. And it is advantageous to any business.
The disadvantages nowadays, are finding just any ' body ' to listen to what you have to offer. It is considered to be a thing of the past. Those old school marketing techniques may work for the few, however, for the many, it has become obsolete.
