Every year, within the last twenty years Bangkok has hosted one of the most important florist shows in Asia. Event visitors were treated to free flower arranging lessons by several Bangkok's top florists. Event visitors were also able to attend cooking classes and event visitors were treated to some free culinary delights which were on offer. The Bangkok florist event was begun by Srikhumrung Yugala the "Hi-So" daughter of the Swissotel hotel entrepreneur and Bangkok company tycoon. The concept of the flower display is both in admiration of the appeal of flowers and a high-class public gathering. The Bangkok Florist Show is put on each year at the Swissotel Nai Lat Park in the beautiful city of Bangkok positioned in between Ploenchit and Chidlom BTS stations.
