Three Tips for Healthier Summer Living
Three Tips for Healthier Summer Living

When I saw reports said that about 20,000 revelers gathered at Stonehenge to watch dawn break on Summer Solstice, the first day of summer, I then realized summer is already here! After the Summer Solstice, the longest day and shortest night of the year, summer has officially arrived.

Summer is always a long, sweltering, tiring season. To have an energetic and healthy summer, I have 3 tips for you, from aspects of food, exercise, and computer using.

Tip 1: Enjoy juicy fruit for minerals replenishing

In summer, because of the hot weather and dry air, we are easy to sweat a lot and lose body minerals. Thus, it is helpful to eat summer fruits that not only replenish minerals lost from the body but also provide natural sugar. The best summer fruits are peaches, strawberries, watermelon, muskmelon, mango, sweet lime, pomegranate, and cherries.

Tip 2: Enjoy exercise when staying safe

Summer is the season for getting outside to exercise, as the weather is hot enough for us to wear shorts and tank tops without worry of freezing. It's also many people's favorite season for weight loss, because they could easily burn out their extra calorie by exercising in such hot weather. But it doubly requires you to stay safe and injury-free. So, before exercise begins, you need well warm up, then start slow. During the exercise, take a rest when your body is working hard and susceptible to injury. At last, the most important thing is to pay attention to your body, and prevent serious injury.

Tip 3: Enjoy net surfing when using ergonomic mouse

Summer is not only for outdoor exercise, to enjoy net surfing indoors is also a good choice, especially for home geek. Plus, the World Cup is getting heated up. Watching games on Internet become more and more people's choice. But when you spend hours a day in front of a computer screen, you need to pay attention to your health, preventing the Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, whose symptoms include tingling and numbness of the fingers, then of the hand and wrist, arm and even shoulder. To avoid this, it's best to use an ergonomic mouse, and reduce your computer using time.

Many ergonomic computer mouses are already on the market and have been widely popular with computer users. On my friend's recommendation, I ordered a Glide-mouse in an online shop. The mouse has not been sent, and I'm quite expecting its arrival. It's said that it can better against aches and pains, but who knows. I will comment only after a try.

Summer is already here, enjoy exercise when stay injury-free, enjoy Internet surfing when using ergonomic computer mouse, and enjoy juicy fruit to replenish energy.
