Some men have no shameSome men have no shame. Whether youre walking down the street to just grab a simple cup of coffee in peace or youre at a bar waiting for some friends to meet you, there will always be at least one unwanted advance from a stranger. Dealing with this type of situation can be uncomfortable, but youve got to handle it with grace or you may end up having to deal with something a whole lot worse. Always be kind. Avoid being sassy or rude because it could make things a lot worse. Make sure that your tone is straightforward and impersonal and just say no thanks or "I'm not interested." In most cases he'll get the point and just back off. Keep moving. This way you can easily say that youre running late to get out of the situation. If youre walking past, try not to slow down, but if you do, make sure to at least keep yourself mobile. Be weird. If the person just wont leave you alone, start making strange facial expressions, raise the pitch of your voice to an unbearably high sound or scratch your armpits. Hopefully youll be able to stave the person off with repulsion. Set off your car alarms. Grab your key and discretely set it off. Hopefully this will scare the guy off and you can continue on your way. Call someone. If all else fails grab your cell phone and call a friend. Tell the stranger that youve got an important call to make and hell most likely give up after a few minutes out of shear boredom.
