subject: Was Your Car Accident A Common Or Uncommon Type Accident? [print this page]

Driving a car takes much concentrationDriving a car takes much concentration. Sometimes, however, concentration slips due to paying attention to other drivers, the weather, the sun shining in the eyes or other car lights shining in the eyes while driving at night. Occasionally, the drivers health plays a part in lack of concentration, as in the case of driving to the doctors office with a blinding migraine headache or holding a body part which is in spasm on the way to the doctors office. There are many reasons for the concentration to slip which can cause a car accident, just as there are many types of car accidents. Some causes are common but some defy belief.

Common Types Of Car Accidents

Goicoechea Law Offices of Nampa, Idaho defines common types of car accidents as rear end collisions and head on collisions, which need no definition. He also describes sideswipes as the instance of trucks with little to no side view striking a passenger vehicle in addition to lane crossovers, caused mostly by drivers falling asleep at the wheel. Tbone accidents and rollovers are also on his list, requiring no explanation. Some crashes are caused by faulty automotive parts while others can be caused by driver inattention due to a variety of reasons.

It is true that some car crashes are single vehicle accidents. Common causes can be identified as slick roads or children chasing a ball into a street, causing the driver to slam on the brakes, sliding the car into a tree or another impediment. A blowout can cause a car to skid into a sidewalk, tree or another car, causing wheel damage as well as frame damage. Sudden blinding light, such as the sun in the eyes, can cause a driver to swerve and hit something. These are ordinary causes and types of accidents, but what are uncommon types of accidents?

Uncommon Types of Car Accidents

At one time or another, everyone has come out of the parking garage too fast and wrapped themselves around a pole or, God forbid, the cashiers shack. People jump curbs everyday and end up sitting in the lap of someone in another car or tangled in wires of some type. People drive through store windows and occasionally into someones picture window in a private home. Strong winds can blow a companys sign off its post and onto a car. Or the case, as described by Denver attorney Daniel Rosen, of the woman who wrecked her car while shaving, er, a less than public area. Uncommon? Sure, but they happen.

This is not common nor uncommon legal advice but it serves to identify some causes and types of car accidents. Concentration can help to avoid uncommon car accidents.
