Sometimes, I just do not think that I am cut out for cooking and baking, as yet another disaster in the kitchen confirmed the other day. This time it was bread making, and despite using the best stand mixer and following the instructions precisely for making bread, once more I ended up with something that looked a little, but tasted quite entirely, unlike food!
It's not like I don?t try either. I really do put my every effort into it, and yet I seem incapable of cooking anything more complicated than a packet if instant noodles. Even then, I run the risk of burning the water. Yes, I am that bad! I should actually have my own TV show, where it shows my recent disasters in the kitchen. It would be far more entertaining than watching a professional chef get things right! Anyhow, it's off to the shops to buy some bread that neither looks nor tastes like concrete!
A When I Win the Lottery List
I am sure that many people like me have a "When I win the lottery list". Now of course, if I won a large sum of money, I would be sure to do something good and meaningful with it for charity or some such, but I won?t lie, I would also spend quite a lot on myself as well! My list includes all sorts of things, such as a fast car, the best stand mixer and a new house. If I won a large sum, I would like to buy a series of houses, and rent them out. Becoming a property tycoon has always appealed to me!
Now, some people say that winning a large sum of money wouldn?t change them or the way they live at all. I have to question this, as if this was the case, then why do the lottery in the first place! Now, with my list complete, there is one drawback, in that I haven?t actually put my numbers on yet this week!
