How to choose a perfect party purse

Every Women love purses! We collect them, match them to outfits, fill them with so many things that reflect who we are purses are truly emotional accessories. But each of us is an individual, and not all party purses are right for all women. I explain a bit how to choose the right purse.

When choosing a purse, keep it proportionate to your body type: medium to large bags for large ladies, small to medium for medium ladies, and small for small ladies. You can break the rules, of course, but extremes will never look quite right. When selecting a shoulder bag or cross body bag, large ladies need to make sure the strap is long enough for a comfortable drop or drape.

You want a new bag...but what for? You don't have to have the same-old. Maybe you're newly retired and don't need to carry your life around with you: Pare down and get a cute French tote. On the other hand, maybe you have a new commute and need to carry a magazine or laptop and bottle of water every day. It doesn't have to be a black commuter bag; any large shopper or hobo will be fun and stylish.

Women who journey and shop a lot will definitely want to try out the new backpack styles--some are even convertible, allowing the purse to be worn as a shoulder bag, as well. Cross body bags, or organizers on a strap, are a way to keep all your essentials accessible and secure. Anything you can wear close to the front of your body, or tucked close under your side, will increase the security of your belongings.

Are you a career girl who wears neutrals and quiet patterns to work? You can have fun with an assertive jacquard, patchwork, or heavy-on-the-hardware satchel purse or shoulder bag. A woman who tends to dress colorfully and wear eye-catching jewelry might want to choose a neutral clutch purse or tote that doesn't fight with your outfits--unless you want to look over the top

Any woman with back or shoulder problems should try to travel as lightly as possible. The new backpack styles are a great remedy for this, balancing the load as they do across the back. Small cross body purses are also kind to sore necks and shoulders. In general, choose a purse with a wide, flat strap or rolled straps and never overload it.
