Service coupons are the Information Age's answer to the newspaper coupon. Instead of clipping coupons out of the newspaper, all consumers need to do is click a promotion code and Viola! The price of the product goes down automatically with no extra effort on their part and no ugly coupon books!
What is a service coupon?
Service coupons are codes to get a discount off a service. These are offered by businesses including companies like:
Verizon
AT&T
Snapfish
LifeLock
Options House
Online Coupons Expire
Many people think these codes are not legitimate because when they go to use a code a sight might say "This is not a valid code." If this happens often enough they believe no promo codes are legitimate and they stop trying.
While some of the codes are not legitimate, 99% of the codes actually work or did work at one point. What people do not realize is the Internet has no concept of time. Therefore, when you type in Snapfish coupon code, you are given thousands of options. However, the codes are offered for a limited time and since the Internet does not always factor time into the mix, you can find codes that expired three or more years ago.
It is important that you find a site that tells you when the coupon expires. When you find a site you like, bookmark it and check it first for more accurate codes.
Steps to Finding a Working Code
Ideally, you will have a site bookmarked and you can find working codes easily. However, if this is the first time you are giving service codes a try then you need to know how to get started.
For our example, we are using Verizon, however, you can use whatever service you like.

a.You can press Ctrl+B or
b.Drag the site into your favorite folder
How to Use a Coupon
For the majority of coupons, you have two options. They both work and it will depend on how the site has been set up.
Option #1: Code is Displayed
Some sites will give you the coupon code. Snapfish likes to use codes like FreeMug or Invite2010 but all sites are different. Some are just random numbers. If you can see the code, then you can write it down and use it at the checkout of the site.
Option#2: Code is Not Displayed
If the code is not displayed, then it will say something like "Click Here" or "Coupon." In that case, you need to click the displayed message and it will take you directly to the manufacture site so you can use the code.
