Valentine's Day is lovely and beautiful for all lovers in the world. They have all sorts of things to do on that special day. They would go watching a movie or share a candlelight dinner with each other. They also would have a quiet walk along the banks of a river or a lake. Anyway, we would celebrate such a special day in our own ways in memory of the past days we shared.
However, did you ever imagine spending such special day by playing video games? You probably never had such an experience before. It also may sound a little bizarre. Is there any connection between romance and playing video games? Actually, this indeed happened to me and my boyfriend.
He is a big fan of Nintendo. He has become totally addicted to it since he met it at dealextreme for the very first time. Sometimes, I find it so hard to ask him to look away from the TV set. Things like this often happen before each dinner. Oh, dear. What am I supposed to do? Should I give him more love by joining him in the games? Or, should I leave him with the stupid game alone? At the bottom of my heart, I know I love him so much. Even though it is as if he loves Nintendo a little more than he loves me, I still love him.
With the advice from my best friend, I should join him in the games. As I began to join in his game team, I found that I have become a totally different person. It turned out that the video game is not as stupid and boring as I used to think it is. Actually, it is quite funny. More importantly, I found an increasingly closer gap between him and me. Guess what? Besides the time spent together on playing games, we would often share the topics about the games we were playing. Sometimes, we would even have a small discussion about how to play the games better. During each discussion, I found him to be a smart, thoughtful and sometimes even tricky guy. All this just made me love him even more.
However, good days do not last long. Just before the Valentine's day, our lovely Nintendo was broken. He became so frustrated and depressed without it. The other day, I brought a new Nintendo with me home when he was sitting at the living room, watching TV in a sad expression. As he just asked me about what we should do for the Valentine's Day, I opened the box and showed something he badly wanted. He nodded knowingly and took the new Nintendo from me. I have a better idea to spend the speci
