A Close Look At Animation Styles - 2d And 3d Animation

You will have to choose between 2D, 3D or Stop Action. These domains have some similar fundamentals and some dissimilar dynamics and hence the need to make a choice as to what you would really want to focus on.

The 3D animation industry is becoming the most popular and a lot of young people are flocking in there. The reasons are largely that the job market requires 3D animators more than it requires other animation professionals and that many people find it more interesting and interactive. If you want to pursue a career in 3D animation it becomes expedient to have a good talent in model building as well as sculpting. In the 3D domain you will quickly pick up that most of the things you will learn in your 3D Model course are in close relation to 2D animation concepts.

The reason is that 2D has been around the longest. The 2D concepts have been largely used in the past in the creation of the old cartoons films. If you have done some course or you have had a career in animation chances are high that the animation activity was based on 2D. Some computers are still framed and structured in the 2D dimensions and some of the web pages on the internet are based on 2D technology and to produce a frame-by-frame scene or even a character.

In the case of 2D based web animations you will have to create an image manually that will go to each frame. In case you are doing a cartoon and you want to have your images in your custom creativity you can draw the images first with a pen and these images will have to go through a video or film processing. Those who have acquired good basic and advanced skills in 2D animations often seek to get a little higher and upgrade to 3D Model.

This is quite good move given that with a 2D background you are better positioned to make it in the 3D category faster than a newbie there. In 3D you can create your characters with computer software. If you into a self-teaching program then you will have to settle for a basic software first, master it then and you can go for more sophisticated software.
