Law of Attraction - Can It Be Proved?
Law of Attraction - Can It Be Proved?

We are told that the Law of Attraction is a law of science, predicted by the findings of modern physics and quantum theory. We also remember, from our school experiences, something about how the laws of science can be proved, by experiment or some other means. So then, if the Law of Attraction is a law of science, it should be possible to prove it, right?

To prove a law of nature usually means to demonstrate in some way to an impartial observer that it works in all situations. That is the traditional view of things. But modern science has shown that there is a whole new set of laws of nature which are true and real, but in which the presence of an observer in itself affects the result of any experiment. The Law of Attraction is one of these.

If you are interested in further exploring the theory about how the observer changes the results, you might find it useful to start by searching on the Schrodinger's Cat experiment. However, we are focusing on the practical application of the Law of Attraction, so we will not go into all that here.

The Law of Attraction states that like attracts like. This is interpreted from the findings of modern physics that everything in the universe is energy. The key point for you to know is that emotions and thoughts are also a form of energy. Positive thoughts and emotions tend to give out high frequency energy, and negative emotions give out low energy. If this seems a little far-fetched, just do that research on the theory, it's all there. However, if you are prepared to take the theory as read, then we can look at the next step.

We said that like attracts like, so the energy you give out will cause you to attract more of the same type of energy. What this means in practice is that if you are feeling positive and confident, you will attract things and experiences which reinforce those positive, confident feelings. Conversely, if you are feeling low and depressed, you will attract things and experiences which reinforce those low, depressed feelings.

No one can prove this to you. If you have read what we said just now, the observer affects the result. So it all depends on you. Only you can prove to yourself that the Law of Attraction works.

The good news is that you can make it work, by the things you do and say, and more importantly, by the thoughts and emotions you have. So if you find yourself thinking negative thoughts, or feeling that nothing will ever go right for you, you can change that. Whether you know it or not, you are already using the Law of Attraction in a powerful way. You have the opportunity, at any moment, to change the form of energy, high or low, you give to the universe. Switch to positive thoughts and confident feelings, and then just sit back and see the results.

Don't expect big changes to happen right away. That is not how it works. Give it time, and the changes will come.
