Disney is back on the animation scene with its 50th movie, Tangled. This time they have a new surprise for us, the movie is in full 3D and it takes you deep into the fairy world of the classic Rapunzel Tale. Umm, did i say classic? Well, it's more like a Disney version of classic. The original storyline is mostly kept as the backbone of the movie, but i'm sure that you have never imagined Rapunzel taking action out of her castle,to get the man she loves. And i am also sure that you wouldn't think of her best friend to be a chamaleon named Pascal. But some things are just as expected from the classic tale,like the romance and musical atmosphere of the movie.
Mother Gothel, the villain is voiced by Donna Murphy,who was the Denise Goodman of Trust me TV series. She is surely the best villain i have seen so far in an animation movie. Flynn Rider (the lover of Rapunzel) is voiced by Zachary Levi of Chuck and Rapunzel herself is voiced by Mandy Moore, who is the Mary Portman of Grey's Anatomy. With the Disney magic and help of the 3D technology, you will feel like you are in the movie, so keep in mind to teach your kids that the humor violence in the movie is not for real life. Also, keep an eye on Pascal for nice quotes and jokes,unlike the horse of Flynn, Maximus who is mostly stealing the show.
It's a nice family movie for your kids and also for you as many of the Disney animations. This one will take its place among the classics, Alaaddin, The Beauty and The Beast, and The Little Mermaid. So don't miss it while you have the chance to watch. One last note, if you liked Shrek, you will definitely love this one too.
