With wireless Internet available now, you don't need to constantly sit near a plug point! Thus laptops are seemingly the preferred option as it is more user-friendly than desktops.
In conclusion, laptops have a string of benefits attached to it. A laptop is portable, lightweight, can be easily moved around, has the option of being wireless and can be connected to an overhead projector for AV presentations. Thus, while students can be constantly plugged into their work via laptops, teachers can use it in classroom discussion to make it more interactive. Owning a laptop for businessmen and working professionals today seems like a necessity as they are constantly travelling and cannot afford to neglect work.
