Marketing: How I Passed Through the Learning Process

It's not easy to find a way to earn more money. I tried network marketing for five years and I built a small network. I followed the system of support, such as motivational meetings and marketing conferences. I lost more money than I earned in this adventure. The pros of this experience are that I learned a lot of basic marketing principles, such as telemarketing, communications and body language. One f the cons, which I prefer to forget, is the amount of time I spent on the road in order to meet people.I started to check on the internet for another way to earn more money. When you do not know what to do, you try the first good opportunity that comes up. My first opportunity was an online course on how to become a reseller on eBay. The cost of this package was nearly $100. I decided to try it and after my registration, I began to receive newsletters. One of these newsletters offered me the opportunity to have a personal coach. The newsletter also specified that places were limited, and that it was for serious students only. The Telephone Call from the CoachA few days after my registration, I got a call from the coach. He asked me many questions about my life, my finances, my credit card, my professional targets, and so on. After 45 minutes he told me that I had the right profile, and asked me if I was serious and ready to invest in my company. He again mentioned that "places are limited". He proposed three options: beginner, intermediate and advanced. I choose beginner. The price of having a personal coach for three months was $11,000.He told me that I can put this amount on my credit card and that I have 45 days to repay the money I make with him. With this there was no guaranty to even make this amount of money. They were selling the bear's skin before killing it. I began to say "no, I'm not interested", but he persisted and used every possible argument to make me change my mind. He even used the responses I gave at the beginning of the conversation to convince me otherwise. I must have said "no" twenty times. In the end my money was all he wanted.Search for Other Opportunities on the WebFollowing the telephone call, I began to search for some opportunities in a niche that I found during the first course. I found one. I read the entire sales page and I found that the company had good credit. I bought a membership and another course on how to become a reseller on eBay. I tried to sell something on eBay and I found a lot of competition. It's not easy to find a niche where there is no competition, and to find a product for resale at a very low price.I began to search for a supplier from China and a couple of products for resale. I found out that I have to start a company in order to get a tax number. Having this provides fewer problems for importation and exportation. I started my company and got all the paper work I needed for importation and exportation. When I was ready to begin importation it was close to the Chinese New Year. I preferred to wait a few weeks before doing my first order. Finally the Real Opportunity Occurred to MeI received a newsletter from my membership inviting me to watch a video. I liked what I saw and I changed my mind about importation. I took a course on how to start marketing for the web with step-by-step instructions and a little coaching. I followed the entire process. Finally sell something without the problem of importation, exportation, storage, packaging and delivery - that was for me.I took some more courses, but they do not give the whole recipe. I now know more about it, and I apply all that I have learned. Stopping a project is not an option. Always persevere, at one time or another, you will find the solution that resolves your problem. The most important thing is to have fun and enjoy what you're doing.
