Automation in the Economy

It will be easy for one to agree that the economy is revolving around automation. Automation makes things easier for all of us and therefore does wonders for our economy. When we think of automation with regards to the economy we see it as freedom. It is freedom from performing particular tasks that were once deemed capable only by human hand and effort.

With automation we are able to allow a machine take care of the job or task for us and this is usually in manufacturing, designing, creating and maintenance. The economy becomes more efficient as costs are cut in half and schedules and deadlines are met with more ease. Along with several positive effects automation also comes with its own set of drawbacks. The more we automate factors in our everyday lives, be it in the household, in businesses, in the medical field or in education, we are deducting the need for human control more and more. Though it is always important to have an actual person supervise over all the automation it still does not erase the fact that the original job of several people has been cut to a minimum and therefore reduces the number of jobs available to the people.

Bottom line is that through all the automation effect on the economy it will not erase the need for actual skilled people to overlook on the automation that takes place. With this the people that are engaged in this type of profession are at large as automation can only continue to increase, grow and develop in several aspect of our lives and therefore making a straight hit to our economy. The efficiency of the economy will depend on how the automation is created, handles and delivered and that it serves its purpose to the public.
