Ingredients
500g Large Pasta Shells
1 Onion, sliced
250g Creme Fraiche
8 Pork Steaks
Juice and Zest of 1 Lemon
1 X 25g Maggi Instant Leek and Potato Soup
4 Apples, peeled and sliced
2 tbsp Chopped Sage
Olive Oil to Cook
2 tbsp High Grade Flour
Servings: 4
Directions:
Cook 2/3 of the pasta in plenty of boiling water until tender, drain and refresh under cold water then, drain again.
Heat the oil in a saut pan, add the apples and onions.
Cook until softened, add brandy (optional), lemon juice and zest and cook for 1 minute, add the sage and crme fraiche.
Stir and simmer to make a rich sauce, season accordingly then add the pasta to heat.
Set aside to stand.
Meanwhile, combine soup mix and flour. Dip in the pork steaks. Heat the oil.
Pan fry for 3-4 minutes on each side. Serve alongside the creamy pasta.
Garnish with chopped sage and serve with sauted spinach.
