Our society has always told us that the best way to get ahead is education. Of course education is good, but too much education can be damaging to a person finical future and work experience. Here are three things that I believe can give you a fresh start after college.
1. Never take more classes than are required: Make sure you know your requirements for your degree. Only take classes on you degree requirement list. No wondering around and exploring what you what to do, make a decision and stick to it. Employers are really only looking for people who have a degree and if you're not going to be a Doctor, Lawyer, or Engineer then what the degree is in really doesn't matter in the real world.
2. Keep a good relationship with your financial Aid Department: make sure you know all of your option in how to get any free money. You should always apply for any monies that you are entitled to no matter what.
3. Educate yourself on ways to earn money from the internet: in order to generate an income in your spar time. This is college and I know that time is the key, but making money from and online business could eliminate your tuition payment altogether.
College is a very complex system of events that happens on a day to day base. It's best to only learn the things that are going to get you ahead in life. Understand college is a money generating machine for universities and keeping this realistic outlook can give the head start you need to get on with your life.
