Internet Marketing and MLM - How Numb Have We Become and Looking a Gift Horse in the Mouth

Internet Marketing and MLM is without a doubt the most difficult nut to crack!I guess for some, this kind of work is a piece of cake. Well I have been involved with MLM companies and internet marketing for years and I'm here to tell you that "It is Tuff "! It seems so easy. Just put up a website and pow, riches beyond your wildest dreams!

Yes, there is a lot of money to be made in internet marketing and I can testify to that but I can also tell you that you must of "thick skin". I consider myself a good guy and try to act and do business on a professional level. However there is one thing that irks me to no end! That is when people automatically cry SPAM when in fact they ask for the information! Most of the time they have simply forgotten that they ask for information on a certain product. I think people think that it must be the thing to do because everybody else is doing it! What a joke! I'm not saying that SPAM itself is a joke, I'm saying that people abuse their power of crying SPAM!

The internet business is hard enough without people getting the internet marketer in deep trouble with their ISP's. Perhaps shutting their business down. All because they get their jollies out of making it difficult for the internet marketers. The internet marketer is simply trying to make a living just like everybody else. In some cases, these same marketers have lost their regular jobs and simply trying to make ends meet! Sure, it's a hard way to earn a living, but sometimes, "you have to do what you have to do".

I have noticed that people just don't pay much attention to advertising anymore. There was a time when people would actually click on advertisement banners in droves. Now they look at them as though they were background noise. It's just another thing that they put up with in their daily lives. What really gets me is that some of those advertisements have real value! I once ran an ad that featured a free cell phone with 200 free minutes, free shipping, nothing to buy, and it was government approved. The program was designed for people that could not afford a cell phone! People that were on welfare or low income people. I ran that ad for 6 months and I got only one person to actually take the offer! What was more amazing is that I ran the ad out of the goodness of my heart. I didn't make a dime on the ad. The program wasn't designed for me to make any money! Simply amazing. You talk about looking a gift horse in the mouth! People have become callous and numb to advertisements because so many people have been burned. I have been burned too!

Internet marketing is a great way to make money. I have made a few bucks in my time and I simply enjoy it. I love the challenge. I market a lot of free products, free sign ups, and free e-books. I like doing it that way because I want to give people something first. At least I can say I gave something of value for their time. Now, if they like what I have to offer them, that's great! If not, well maybe next time. Most people think that anything for free must be a scam, so, oh well, I tried!

Yes, I am an internet marketer and am proud to be one. Can I help those that think the internet marketing world is nothing more that a scam? I think not. Can I convince anyone to change their minds and have a better outlook about the internet business? Perhaps I can however, there are certain things that are real. Internet marketing is here to stay. Just as there are ads on tv. What's the difference? People are bombarded with TV ads. Perhaps people should call up the TV stations or cable company and cry SPAM because they didn't ask that they see that commercial. Why should they be any different than somebody receiving an email. Advertisements are advertisements no matter where they come from and most people just ignore them anyway! The only difference is that major corporations spend millions on advertising while network marketers sends free email.
