We have eyes but we are blind: We have ears but we are deaf.
We have eyes to look and ears to hear, but we do not see and we do not listen. We have eyes to look into the universe. We have eyes to see the beautiful galaxies, with its order and harmony, with its formidable colors and forms.
We have eyes to look into the universe to understand but we understand nothing. We have eyes to look into our planet earth and examine every living thing on it, in it and above it, but we do not see anything.
We have eyes to look into ourselves and see the most complicated and perfectly beautiful structure and form, shape and color but we do not understand anything. Our capacities to see are limited to the edge of our noses, and no more.
We do not see how we are made, how the earth planet is made and how the whole universe is made. From what atoms are we made? From what atoms is the universe constructed? What atoms form matter and gives it its shape, form, color and structure? Who made these atoms? Who puts these atoms together?
Who holds these atoms together? Maybe you do or your father before you? Who knows you have a cousin giving hand to the All Mighty in putting the atoms of the universe together, assembling galaxies in their forms, shapes and colors?
You may have a distant aunty who give hand to the All Mighty to build the earth in its form and shape, colors and constituents? The helping in its rotation around the sun and maybe in rotating around itself.
Friends, if you do not have a family, must have helped God in spinning the earth at a speed of 1600 kms per second and put it in its orbit around the sun. Friends can be very helpful in this. Perhaps this explains how thing came about some 20 billions of years ago?
But we have eyes to see and we are blind and we have ears to hear and listen but we are deaf. Listen to life in a jungle, or in a park, during the day or at night!
Listen to other humans when they speak but open yours ears well to understand and realize that you had nothing, neither your family nor your friends to contribute to the making of the jungle, or whatever expresses life in it, that you have nothing contributed to the making of your own self.
Myriads of systems and constituents make what you see in the mirror, what you see in the universe, what you witness in every creature. But for this you must use your eyes and see with them.
We have eyes but cannot see, we have ears but cannot hear.
You ought to listen and hear, look and see, with your brain, if you have one to understand.
