How Does an Automated System Works?

Have you ever wondered on what makes a certain automated system move all by itself? An example is a manufacturing machinery that we typically see in industrial set ups. What makes the robots do the tasks that they were intended to do?

Actually the answer is just simple -- a computer controls the movement of an automated system especially robots in particular. But you may wonder that you do not see any computer attached to any of the automated system that you see, so how it is that the computer can control the movement of every automation system that you can think of?

As a matter of fact, the computers that are being described here are different from the computers that you may be thinking of. The computers that are being discussed here are what we call Programmable Logic Chips. These are actually devices on which we can program the things that we want the automated system should perform.

There are several manufacturing companies which develop this type of product. They focus more in providing the users with total control of the systems that they want to automate.

Automation does not only involve moving machineries such as robots and other automated industrial manufacturing systems. We can also implement automation in our homes. We can integrate programmable logic chips to the lighting system of your house so that it will become more efficient. There are also companies which implement automation in toilet flushing systems which saves the company money to pay for the water bill. The company then also contributes to the preservation of the Mother Nature since it promotes the conservation of water.

Finally, automated systems are invented so that we can have a better life and it is our responsibility to also promote automated system so that we can bring better lives to others.
