Birthday is a day for introspection

A tradition has been established and people have started celebrating their own happy birth day, birthday of their children and they also attend birth day of old saints, gurus, avtaras, devis and prophits. Cakes are cut, candles are lighted and so many people pronounce 'happy birth day to you'. And they also clap while pronouncing this phrase of happy birth day.
If we too celebrate our own birth day and we call friends and relatives, we must keep in our mind that this day is not meant for celebration only. On this day we shall have to conduct an introspection and we shall have to examine what stage we have achieved and what had been our targets in life. We must note that what is our age now and what number of working years are at our hand. We must have a recount of our wishes and desires and when we examine our fields, we shall have to see that we shall be taking in hand only those projects and targets which we would be able to complete in the coming years which are at our hand.
This life is very short and so many years we have already wasted. We have completed a part of our education and training and if we are at work, we are just at the beginning or much is still in our mind which we shall be achieving in the coming years. We know what time is left with us, what is our money resource and what shall be the investment in new projects. We have got certain sources at our hands from where we can get money as a loan, but we must know that it is difficult to return money with interest. Therefore, this loan facility must be utilized rarely and only then when we are in a position and earn and return loan money with interest. Therefore, we may start from the very beginning and with money which we have at our command. All are not born with silver spoon in their mouth and therefore, some of us must start from the very beginning and this is a better method to achieve big goals and once you achieve, you would be more proud of your achievements than those who could get money from their parents.
This birthday is the time when we shall be measuring our achievements and we shall have a look on our failures. You may enjoy, but if you are celebrating birth day of your wards, even on that day we should have a look at their achievements and their failures and we must arrange success for their life in the remaining period which are at our command.
If we start like this, we shall be achieving more in life and we shall be bettering the life position of our wards too.
