Declutter Your Home

There is nothing better than having a good sort through all the junk you have accumalated and getting rid of it; a spring clean for the house is like a spring clean for the soul. Don't however do what a friend did recently and rip all your junk out of the cupboard at once, as it's often very difficult then to go about the mammoth task of sorting out the junk.

Go through the man drawer' and throw away any old batteries and chargers that you don't have a clue what they charge. We all have a drawer where junk gets thrown, and it often needs a declutter. Buy some organisers and organise the stuff you really need, discarding the stuff that you just don't.

Do the same with your possessions, especially after Christmas when you may have received newer items. Have a day where you put all your old things on eBay, or if you don't have the time, simply take them to a charity shop. It may not be treasured to you anymore, but it could make money for someone in a worse position.

If you have lots of clothe hanging in the wardrobe that you don't want to get rid of but are out of season, then divide your clothes up into winter and summer, and get a vacuum bag. Store your winter items in the loft during the summer months and keep them protected.
