The selection was made by a panel of judges from the country's known media brands and technological magazines. There was a time when HTC use to build the hand set on the contract basis for other companies and now the brand has its own manufacturing units and is building stand out technological wonders for mobile markets. This shows the tough success story followed by HTC mobiles.The company has made a place not in entry level mobile phones but hard core smartphones and simply giving tough time to other rivals in market. The company has taken "Smartphone of the Year" award for last two years and now it is able to grab "Technology Brand of the Year" title. This year the award came under this brand because of HTC Desire, one of the most successful products from HTC. And last year it was HTC Hero. Last year the winner of this title was none other than Google's Android OS.well that sounds interesting. That means at the time people are not getting tired of praising Android driven mobile phones, HTC is able to snatch the title from Google. HTC has certainly made a commendable success in its journey.
