Eating Healthy Is A Lifestyle Change For Today, Not Tomorrow

We fill our bodies with toxins on a daily basis. There are, obviously, many different types of toxins, none of which are good for you. But, some have a more severe effect than others. Some toxins can eat away at your insides, while others simply force your body to store fat rather than burn it for energy. The first sounds worse than the second, doesn't it? They are, actually, equally detrimental to your overall health and life. In order to avoid the latter; however, you must learn to eat a healthy diet.Surely you have heard of detoxification diets and the amount of weight many have lost. This is because the toxins in our body hold on to fat like there is no tomorrow. This is not to say that you should run out and find a detoxification diet but instead learn how to lessen the amount of toxins that enter your body on a daily basis. A detoxification diet will be a temporary fix, just like any other diet. If you want permanent results, you must change the way you eat, find healthy meals to eat rather than toxin filled meals."But", you think, "I eat pretty decent foods." You would be surprised. If you are eating anything out of a box, bag, can, or fast food restaurant, you are not eating as well as you think. Yes, even if you are getting salads from these places, they are still filled with toxins that will do nothing good for your body or health. It is not just about what you are eating, but also about how the food was treated, what chemicals are on it, etc.You see organic food everywhere you go; some places have better selections than others. Take your time finding a store that best suits your needs. Here's why. Organic, whole foods are not treated with the toxins that other foods are. Therefore, by eating organic foods you are putting fewer toxins into your body. Fewer toxins equals a healthier you from inside out.So, the ultimate goal is to lessen, not eliminate, the number of toxins in your body. Start focusing on fresh, natural, whole foods - fruits, vegetables, grains, nuts, etc. Not the packaged kind either. Fruits, for example, are good for you only when they are fresh. The fruit in a cup or can are soaked in high fructose sugar, and is NOT the toxin-free food your body needs. If you can gradually replace your existing meals and snacks with natural meals and snacks, you will find that you have more energy and feel better about yourself. It will take time to fully implement healthy eating habits, but once created, there is no going back. That is the goal here, you cannot do this overnight. Gradually improve your intake and it will stick with you for the rest of your long, healthy life.
