The book of course has copyrights so I do not have the right to share or spoil its content to the public. However, in this review, I will try my best to give as much from what you can expect should you decide to buy one.
The book identifies common mistakes done be "seasoned" and hard-to-change bowlers. It then gives basic remedies to cure these and prevent these mistakes from happening.
There are also a number of pre-game stretches that will help improve your game when done before you toss that first ball. The stretches range from the basicsthose that we already knowto the surprisingly simple but effective. For the most part, I think I got my money's worth here.
There is also a short chapter on wrist braces. It explains thoroughly why such is a must it one wants to improve his/her game. I myself am a brace user, but there are some added secrets to maximize your current brace to further improve scores.
Another important chapterwhich I was really skeptical about thenis the importance of different bowling ball materials and how these react with the lanes and pins on impact. Mastering this portion is something I am still working on, because I am not really a technical guy.
There is also a dedicated chapter on proper ball grip. Grips that assure better control and smoother delivery are discussed. Of course, like all I've discussed above, there are secrets which I simply could not reveal. I have to say that I had a hard time changing my grip which I have had for 5 years, but the change is slowly creeping in to provide better scores. I think once I really, really get used to the new grip, I will turn out to be a better player.
The information presented in The Ultimate Bowling Guide PDF is worth more than what it's asking for. I for one bought it when it was still $27. I believe now they dropped the price even further to around $18 (I'm not really sure), and all I could think of was "Damn, I hope those I play with do not find this book."
