When you behave and communicate in a certain way, people will tend to be drawn to you. They will want to meet you, to talk to you, to be friends with you and so on. This can be a great advantage, as it saves you of a lot of the effort.
As a communication coach, I've noticed certain patterns that naturally draw people to you. Here are some of the fundamental ones.
1. Be in social places. People can't be drawn to you if they don't even know that you exist. You need to put yourself out there, so others have a chance to notice you.
Go to parks, clubs, classes, parties, malls etc. This by itself won't usually draw people to you, but it is a fundamental prerequisite that many ignore.
2. Stand out. The people who get noticed the most are the people who stand out. They also intrigue others and make them want to know them. This is why it's important to stand out.
Try to at least wear one interesting item on you that people notice. Dress in a way that has personality and is also in good taste. Also, watch your body language, stand up straight and walk with confidence. This will usually get you noticed.
3. Be positive. The kind of person everybody wants to talk and interact with is a positive person. When I say positive, I mean the type of person that seems happy, likes to joke around and have fun, talks about positive things and has a positive vibe.
Even if you're not this kind of a person, you can consciously practice thinking and acting like a positive person, and eventually become one.
4. Be friendly. When you're talking with another person, be open and talk about yourself. In addition be curios about the other person and be a good listener.
If people find you friendly, positive and they enjoy interacting with you, they will tell other about you as well. This way, as the word spreads, other people will want to meet you and actively try to do so. It's a stupendous way to draw people to you.
