The enlightening interview gave Emma Watson fans a good insight into the star who has been synonymous with the Harry Potter franchise for more than a decade. Emma Watson has been stopping by to chat with Regis Philbin ever since the first Harry Potter movie released ten years ago.
"I always feel like I'm coming home when I come here," Watson affectionately told Philbin. When asked about her new super short hairstyle, Watts explained that she cut her hair three months ago. "I was ready for a change," she explained. "I was weirdly calm." Regis Philbin loved the new hairstyle and said, "I'm really crazy about your little haircut."
The conversation moved on to what is keeping Emma Watson busy these days. The Harry Potter star is currently enrolled in a major U.S. university (Philbin refused to divulge the name out of respect for Watson's privacy).

She explained that she considered Cambridge University in England, but chose a school in the United States instead because, "I really love the American attitude towards education." Watson said that she is enjoying her professors and classes, and especially likes waking up at 10:00 a.m. after years of early filming calls.
Watson's major is history. "It's my real passion." Emma Watson finally discussed her feelings about the end of the Harry Potter films. "It's obviously very emotional. I won't be seeing people I've grown up with everyday, and I'll miss playing that role," Watson told Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa. However, the Harry Potter star is ready to move on to the next chapter in her life. "I feel like I've just been let off a leash."
She also said that she is anxious to see how the next decade of her life compares to the last. Regis Philbin is obviously very fond of Emma Watson and joked that he refuses to believe that he won't see her again. "I don't believe this is the last Harry Potter movie!" he exclaimed. However, in the end, the host wished Emma Watson well and added, "I want you to take care of yourself in college."
Daniel Radcliff is scheduled to appear on Wednesday's Live With Regis and Kelly. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part I premieres nationwide on Friday, November 19th.
