Intorduction to E-bike system:
India is one of the fastest developing country and a significant strata of population is middle class. This has led to tremendous increase in number of two wheelers (scooters, mopeds, motorcycles) on road. The three major concerns in today's accidental prone lives is drunken driving, second is purity of petrol, and third one is bike safety. 1,14,590 people died in road accidents in India (2007), highest in world. At least 13 people die every hour to road accidents in the country, the latest report of the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) reveals. In 2009, 26% motorcyclists were killed with a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) of 0.05 g/100ml and over. Three in every 10 Indians have been involved in an alcohol related accident at some time in their lives. So there is need felt to avoid these drunken driving accidents. The Second concern is purity of fuel from petrol pumps. Most of the petrol pumps are making money by mixing petrol with other chemicals which leads to deterioration of vehicle as well as impart a significant role in environmental problems as it will lead to emit more pollutant like carbon mono-oxide, other carbon contents. The third concern over bike safety is because of increasing number of bike theft. The project was thought of when our bike was stolen than we decided to make a security system which would prevent bike theft.
Stages of development of the Project:
Stage 1: Research and Background study
Understanding of the working of two wheeler- engine, fuel control, etc.
Study of present security system available and modification needed.
Fuel content study- purity checking
Stage 2: Algorithm and circuit designing
Flowchart of flow of control
Study of microcontroller, sensors and GSM technology

Stage 3: Implementation of designed circuit
Pcb designing and manufacturing
Error detection and correction

Proposed outcome/ findings:
The proposed outcome is a two wheeler embedded with security, safety and anti adulteration system. It will lend a hand in reducing the rapid increasing accident rate by keeping a check on reckless driving. Purity of fuel will ensure efficient working of engines and control pollution. The thieves and gangs will also be curved out because the police will be able to track them with the help of E-bike system. The project e-bike will revolutionize the two wheeler industry.
