Sadly, my boy Allen Iverson is no longer with the NBA as not team in the league decided to offer him a contract. He's still got the skills although he is not as great as he once was. He is now playing in Turkey but the state of his career is not what this is about. I want to talk about how to dribble like Allen Iverson.
I can understand that kids today would model their game after Kobe or LeBron but back in the days, Allen Iverson is the MAN. He has this lightning quick crossovers, killer drives and awesome ability to finish at the ring. As a kid growing up with four brothers, I've seen them play basketball countless of times and being older than them, I tried to coach them which solely involves showing them 76ers games where Allen Iverson spent most of his productive years.
Later on, I tried to tell them to learn how to dribble like Allen Iverson, only the youngest two took my advice to heart. Sadly though, they were not meant to be basketball players as all four of them decided that playing in a band is cooler. But looking back, I thought they had the potential to make a university basketball team. If only I had access to the internet back then and came across this training program, I would have helped them immensely develop their game.
Still, I am more than happy that they are now happy with what they are doing professionally. No, they are not playing in a band as they soon found out that it is tough to maintain good grades and still have time to practice with their respective bands.
