Getting over divorce for women is a tough thing to sort out. You have given up a great deal already with a family and trying to satisfy everyone. Now the end has come and you end up divorced for whatever reason and you are full of emotions. This is not unusual, those feelings and emotions are that of fear, sadness, anger, and maybe betrayal.

Woman getting over divorce feel fear of being on your own. You have been with him for years and now you have no idea how to live without him. You are able to live without him it is going to take a few adjustmentsbut you are going to be fine in the long run.

With divorce comes along with it freedom. You no longer have to hurry home for him. If you have kids you need to continue to care for them but not having him in your life will free up some time because you do not have to clean up after him anymore, you do not need to do what he wishes anymore, you can watch and do everything you desire to do.

Women getting over divorce feel sadness and hurt. This merely stands to reason. You dedicated your life to him and now he is not here. Even if you wanted the divorce the reality of it frequently hits like a ton of bricks. Obviously there was a reason you wanted to leave him if it was your idea so he still let you down in some way.

Women getting over divorce will feel anger. He has let you down and now you are stuck with the financial obligations on your own. You have got the children while he has complete freedom. You are angry at everything he has done to you and put you thru as well as everything that he never did for you.

Severalwomen getting over divorce will feel betrayal. Betrayal that he did not do what he said he would do or just that he left you. It is possible to feel betrayed no matter who decided to break it off. There continues to be a broken promise somewhere in your lives together that brought this on in the first place.

Let these feelings go. Cry, throw something, punch a pillow, scream at the top of your lungs, anything that can cause you to feel better at the moment. Get all of it out. These emotions have to run there course in order to recover from them.

Your feelings and emotions are normal. Everybody's experiences are different and everybody's feelings are different. Just because your sister or best friend did not feel like you do does not make something wrong with you or them. Everyone deals with divorce in their own way.

At some point you are going to have to move on with your life. You may have trouble letting go of the past but there are many more memories to be made. You have a whole new life in front of you. If you find yourself having trouble getting over your divorce there are many different resources to help you move on and be happy once again.
