X-Factor has become a way for many aspiring talents to fulfill their dreams and it gave them the chance they wanted. It helped them to become better and stronger that resulted for them to release the best out of them. However, as the show continues each year, some people felt that it is losing its sensation to bring people the satisfaction they want to have in watching the show.
The later seasons of the show became ordinary and the public started to lose interest in watching and patronizing the show. In addition, in the first few weeks of the latest season, Simon Cowell, who created the show, stated that he will end the show in Britain and will take it to America. It seemed that Cowell announced this as a publicity stunt in order to boost the shows dying popularity.
Also, people noticed flaws and flops in the show that is why they lose the urge to watch the show. Additionally, this year's X-Factor failed to accomplish in giving the best talents out in the public. Not all of the contestants are talented enough to be on the show and people showed their disgust in some of the contestants. Moreover, in the past season, there are several scandals that the show has faced, which includes different publicity stunts.
Example of this scandal is whether the show will allow prostitutes as contestants. This scandal includes the supposedly prostitute Chloe Mafia. News circulated from the tabloids for one week, alleging Chloe Mafia for being prostitute. This helps them gain popularity as people started to get curious for a week.
Also, there was the Auto-tune scandal by which contestants' performances were altered in order for them to make sound more horrible. This incident was admitted by the X-Factor bosses.
As of today, Simon Cowell, alongside the X-Factor team was finding ways to revive the popularity of the show. For some, the show has already met its Waterloo; all the negative stories have been heard and some performances have already crashed down. Unless the team from the show do something to change the course of the show drastically, it is likely that they can recuperate from the show's nearing termination.
