The States art collection consists of over 15,500 works of art. A visit to the Perth Cultural Centre would certainly be a splendid way of spending the day surrounded by these exquisite masterpieces.

Need a break from the exhibits? Then why not catch a theatre performance at the Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts or the Blue Room Theatre. The former has a year round program of exhibitions, performances, screenings aimed at promoting the contemporary arts. They also offer a public and education program which is geared to strengthen the ties between its artistic programs and varied audiences. The Blue Room Theatre productions are uniquely produced by the writers, directors, actors, technicians and managers who assist in creating them. Every year around 16 new productions are selected and put on show. Indeed an exciting place to witness budding talent!
