To attain the knowledge and the skills, an adult must continue education. We can equate education with knowledge and skills. If a person has the knowledge and the skills, he or she can be successful in his or her career. Only few adults remain in a single career field in a lifetime. And even if they remain in one field, they must constantly update their knowledge and skills. Adults must face that they can have different career path in their life- line due to changing career interests and obsolescence of jobs, and they must be prepared for these changes. An adult must not limit his or herself to continue learning new things.

It must be noted that attaining several number of skills and knowledge can be a difficult task. However, for an adult to cope up to the changes in the society, it is important that he or she will acquire the knowledge and the skills that he or she will need for his or her career path. Nothing is constant in this world but change. The advancements of technology can be a concrete example for this. And since technological advancements are present, the skills and the knowledge of an adult must fit in to the requirement of the society.
