JSB manufacturer of vapourettes electronic cigarettes

JSB is one of largest manufacturers of electronic cigarettes. Many vapourette electronic cigarette companies buy from them. To name but a few. Companies such as vapourettes.com, BLU, ICIG, E-lites, Volcano, Skycig, Greenarettes and many more.

Their electronic cigarettes are long lasting, perform well, they are mainly for people starting on electronic cigarettes. Although they manufacture the Vgo which is designed for a heavy user as it has a large battery that can support old day vaping. Incidentally "Vaping" is a new word as far as electronic cigarettes are concerned which i will discuss in more detail in a separate article.

The main purpose of this article is to mention the 2 types of electronic cigarettes that JSB manufacture which are the Vgo and the J510.

The Vgo is a very good electronic cigarette in many ways. What lets it down is 2 minor things. The atomizer is a very good one indeed and does last a long time considering other atomizers, however the cartridges are the problem in a minor way i would say. The JSB Vgo cartridge is slightly larger than a normal 510 acartridge, so when you want to replace cartridges on the Vgo you have to buy the JSB cartridge and not any other cartridge. The way around that is wait till the atomizer dies which happens after a month or so of use and replace it with a standard 510 atomizer preferably a Boge tech or Joye (both available from many websites including vapourettes.com) as they are the more reliable 510 atomizers i have come across as i have had my fair share of badly manufactured atomizers.

The second slight problem with the Vgo is the way the cone attaches to the battery. All other electronic cigarettes / personal vaporisers of that type, the cone actually screws onto the battery rather than just slot in as you can see from the photo. It very much depends on the batch you receive as some, the cone does not attach properly to the battery and keeps slipping off, the way around it is to just put a thin piece of paper to secure it. Luckily due to the battery being a long lasting one as it can last up to a whole day. The battery is 720mAh which is impressive for a device of that size.

January 2010. I received an email from JSB yesterday and thankfully i had the news that they have modified the cone of the Vgo and now it is a screw on type which is great news. They also have introduced different versions of the Vgo too.

JSB also manufacture the well known 510 which is amongst the best electronic cigarettes around. In the cartridge department we have the same problem as the J510 uses exactly the same atomiser as the Vgo. I would always advise when buying 510s always go for a manual one rather than auto ones as the manual tends to perform better most times.

What JSB has done with the J510 is the button of the manual switch ones. It is a lovely looking device as they made the manual button almost flush so it does not protrude as all the other 510s on the market. Unfortunately it is rather awkward to operate as it is too recessed and flush with the battery.

Notice the button on the e-cigarette how flush it is with the battery which makes operation a little awkward.

Apart from the 2 flaws i have mentioned about the JSB Vgo and J510. These 2 models perform very well. Very well built and durable.
