The concept went through several phases before becoming the eventual product, shifting from the original idea of an anthology series to one of tabloid reporters driving around the country in a van "fighting the demons in search of the truth". Kripke wanted it to be a road trip series, feeling that it was the "best vehicle to tell these stories because it's pure, stripped down and uniquely American... These stories exist in these small towns all across the country, and it just makes so much sense to drive in and out of these stories."

However, there was a Sam Harrison living in Kansas, so the name had to be changed for legal reasons. Combining his interest in the Winchester Mystery House and his desire to give the series the feel of "a modern-day Western", Kripke settled on the surname of "Winchester". However, this also presented a problem. The first name of Sam and Dean's father was originally "Jack", and there was a Jack Winchester residing in Kansas, so Kripke was forced to change the character's name to "John".

It's not TV, and it's not certainly just a show. Supernatural Season 6 Episode 9 is a happening, not to be unexploited. Watching this show is like deskbound in your preferred hostelry and hearing someone say, "Enjoy the show."

Opportunities were positively sky-high for this show, but the manufacturers have climbed to encounter them--in a series that grows wealthier, unfathomable and more engrossing with each of the latest episodes broadcasted. From its magnificent photography to its scrupulous unfashionable getups to its clever, ill-humored dialogue to its brilliant cast, this show offers a TV program that's so sophisticated and gorgeously implemented, each episode touches as amusing and outstanding as its own little. The most entertaining - -and beautiful --new series on TV this fall. This rapidly attractive historical piece feels electrifyingly contemporary as it imprisons with extraordinary detail of a chaotic time of creation and re-invention.

By the end of the introduction, a web of captivating plot line is determinedly in place. As succeeding episodes disclose, the story finds its thumping heart as the charms significantly develop. The show isn't cool to warm up to, to be honest; it's dressed in--and at times muffled by-- scrupulous period aspect and too-perfect lighting.
