Fight Against Prostatitis - A long way in providing a successful level of care

Many patients have the old school idea that the Doctor must be right, and submit to whatever regime the Doctor hands out.

Well, here's a few tips from my personal experience. If you hear one or more of them being bandied about by your Medical provider, get up, head for the door, and persist in finding a Doctor who will adopt a terrier attitude.

In short, many Doctors are guessing when they are presented with a Prostatitis patient.Yet not all of us are sufficiently aware of when to stop the guesswork and fire the Doctor.

It is common knowledge in the field of Medical Mojo Warrior that there is a long way to go yet in providing a successful level of care.

Tip 1 - "You don't need that Test"Many Doctors reply on doing an EPS (Expressed Prostatic Fluid) test, whenever you go to see them about a flare-up of your Chronic Prostatitis. Many times, such a test shows no result.

Tip 2 - "You'll just have to live with it"No matter if you have heard this from more than one Doctor, it's clear evidence that your Doctor doesn't know what to do, or can't be bothered with your case... or both.

Tip 3 - "Another Course of Antibiotics"And here is the most potentially dangerous thing a Doctor can do; over-prescribing of Antibiotics. A longterm Prostatitis patient who has been repeatedly prescribed Antibiotics will likely have highly resistant pathogens and a weakened Immune system giving rise to all sorts of other problems.

Tip 4 - "It's all in your head"The same reasons as Tip 2 apply here, except we can add "lazy" or "incompetent" as fit descriptors of the Doctor involved. Such verbiage is insulting, and again, is a great indication that this Doctor is wasting your hard-earned money.

Where this is happening, request a semen test. It's truly amazing how many Doctors do not do this, or resist when asked to. Politely demand such a test, or, yes, head for the door.
