Beastie Boys: "So What'cha Want" (Charlie's Talent Agency Mixtape)

My first reaction after listening to this Beastie Boys "So What'cha Want"remix several times is that young people spend the best years of their life, their most productive, working for someone else. Hence, is this rapper, actor, and from what I read investor an anti-conformist? He talks about the "flash crash" and I wonder if he saw "The Inside Job."

Of course it ends with shameless self promotion and his "Uh Huh Okay What's Up Shutup" simile as that is his most popular music video and song to date. Let me hit "replay"

Ok, there are some allusions to "fight for your right to party." He likes to say "get with the program" and I know he is talking about SLAA. "Wishes don't do dishes" gives me a big smile! Oh jeez, this boy has issues as he changes the chorus to "I'mma real man, a real man, a real man" and we won't mention the 2nd chorus here.

"So What'cha Want" remix is fast. He obviously has something to say about business partners or ex business partners. "Reinventing the music industry" is a bit much but he has a new trends in music videos blog so he has a point, however moot. Ole school American values of ethical action, the sacrament of "working hard" and so forth. He does make another reference to a hit song "Hit Me With Your Best Shot."

In the title, at the moment, he references a talent agency with visions of expanding into New Orleans, Montana, and other areas where film incentives are underway. Therefore, I have one question for Stephen Marvin dot TeeVee and that is where is the link to your blog on your home page ??
