Outsourced is set in a Mumbai, India call center, where an American noveltiescompany has recently outsourcedits order processing. A lone American manages the call center and must explain American popular culture to his employees as he tries to understand Indian culture.
The show is centered around Todd Dempsy and a number of his employees working for the Mid America Novelties call center, as well other call center managers in the same building.

"Outsourced" is a comedy where the Midwest meets the exotic East in a hilarious culture clash. The series centers on the all-American company Mid America Novelties that sells whoopee cushions, foam fingers and wallets made of bacon -- and whose call center has suddenly been outsourced to India.
Summary:
Todd begins feeling pressure from his family to succeed, so he tries to impress them by winning a Black Friday sales competition. Fearing defeat, Todd works his employees extra hard, only to find his efforts thwarted when the power goes out due to a torrential downpour. Meanwhile, Charlie tries to redeem himself after losing to Manmeet and Gupta at the Indian version of billiards by challenging them to a game of laser tag.
