Oh YES we can phone them or test them or sent them a message on Facebook or tweet them. But it not the same. It been a long tine since I got a post card, I truly miss receiving handwritten notes through regular postal services. And look at all the pretty picture on the front of the card.
Sad to say post card are the thing of the past. We can bring back this lost art. Just by sending one postcard a week to just one person a week.
If you've forgotten how to send a handwritten letter or postcard here are some tips
1. Picking out a postcard.
When you are picking out a postcard tt's all about the picture. Does the picture on the post card say what in your heart?
2. Write down their address.
Postcards come with a blank backside. This is the side you'll write your message
and address your postcard.
The left side of the postcard is for your salutation, message, closing, and
signature. The right side of the postcards is for addressing.
3. Write down your message.
On the left side of your postcard, write your salutation. A salutation is a
greeting. It can be as casual as "Hi from Sunny California!" or as formal as
"Dear Mrs. Edrich".
Under your salutation write your message.
If you're on vacation, and you've selected a travel postcard from one of your
travel destinations, you may want to mention your favorite aspect of the trip or
a lesson learned while visiting this particular spot.
If you're not on vacation, but a postcard catch your eye get it. Your message can be about any- and every- thing that comes to mind.
4. Choose the correct postage.
Postage rates change on a near annual basis. Postage rates in the United States,
for instance, differ from postage rates in the United Kingdom. So take the time
to ask the locals what the correct rate is. There is nothing worse than having mail returned for improper postage.
5. Mail your postcard.
Though this goes without saying, don't forget to mail your postcard.
