The o2 Arena originally the Point Theatre is located on the north side of Dublin on the North Wall Quay of the river Liffey. This state of the art venue seats 13,000 people and has widely diverse and worldwide popular acts and artists perform all year round.
Location of the O2
The O2 is located at Northwall Quay Dublin 1, just a 20 minute stroll from O'Connell Bridge to the north. From O'Connell Street, go down the Northside Quays and past the IFSC Centre, where the venue is. The 02 is positioned opposite Dublin Port and facing the East Link Toll Bridge.
If you're travelling by bus, take the number 53 however there are a number of hotels near o2 so you wont have far to travel.

All Events in the O2 are managed by "Live Nation" a company which is based in Beverly Hills, California and who are listed on the New York stock exchange.
Upcoming Events
Now that you have an understanding of where the arena is and just what you can expect from it lets take a look at the most important information, who is performing there over then next number of months. This first group describes the just exactly what this arena has to offer and they are "Diversity". Britain's Got Talent winners are performing their fantastic and fun dance act on the 27th of November.
Alternative acts such as "The War of The Worlds Musical" which is back on stage by popular demand and "Here Come the Girls" are both on in November. If these don't do it for you then the O2 Arena also has all the big names performing over the Christmas period with acts such as "ArcadeFire" and "Kings of Leon" who are also playing Slane Castle in Ireland but the 80,000 tickets sold out in under 40 minutes. With such a great venue such as the O2 Arena don't expect these tickets to stick around too long.
Again if these are not too your taste you can expect to see both the "Strictly Come Dancing Tour" and the extremely popular "X Factor Live Tour". Both of these acts have had major success since they started touring and will only be enhanced further by this fantastic arena.
