Let's talk about learning how to write articles that really make money. Not that do okay. Or NOT that do so-so. But the kind of article marketing campaigns that CAN set you free if you are smart, savvy and strategic...and if you follow my advice below, you'll be well on your way in a hurry..:-)
The CHALLENGE with conventional article marketing campaigns is this:
Most people think tactically when it comes to content creation. They think...think about building back links. Or readers to a blog or website. Or even...if they're a bit more advanced and forward thinking, they use their articles to build a list, and develop REAL enduring relationships with their readers.
But in my experience, even THAT'S not enough.
There are 2 very simple, very straightforward, and very successful article marketing methods I practice, and try to teach others who are just getting started.
Mercenary Article Marketing:
This is how I started years back...and the BENEFITS of this work, many months and years later, still reverberate through my business today on a daily basis. Essentially, you are being a mercenary marketer, and simply creating content to drive traffic DIRECTLY to high paying affiliate offers in niches you KNOW are already converting. I look for high EPC offers (earnings per 100 visitors) from the MAJOR affiliate networks (no digital downloads or unethical offers) and I simply create copious amounts of killer content that sends my reader RIGHT to the vendor, using my affiliate ID, to make a purchase.
My job is simple - and it's a numbers game, and like most mercenary methods...it's DEADLY effective for generating killer profits. (But it's a lot of work and can burn you out over time) This is probably the FASTEST way to make money with your content...and the beauty is, just about everyone reading this can start tonight without investing more than a few dollars in hosting, and domains name to make it happen)
My first one million readers came from this approach, and I probably have written about 3500 articles using THIS strategy alone.
Article Marketing for PASSION Products and Services:
This is where I focus NOW...and where I recommend you do, too when you're able. Essentially, much like this article, you create content in areas that you have true love...amazing enthusiasm and feel a real sense of purpose. Your article should serve ONE master...and one master only: To build a REAL relationship with your readers...and one that is consummated by them joining a newsletter, or becoming part of your community and engaging with your process on a more intimate level. This is where the REAL money is....the real rewards as well, and the real sense of contribution, community and collective kicks in to boot.
But here is my TOP recommendation if you go this route and NEED to make money fast:
Sell services. Coaching...consulting, mentoring and authentic expertise. And put a PREMIUM value on what you have to offer your readers...and price yourself accordingly. Lastly, and MOST important.....write a minimum of 7 messages that establish your expertise, offer outstanding value and showcase your skills BEFORE your write your first article. (you'll thank me for THIS recommendation more than the others....especially if you're prone to procrastination like many of us....I promise!)
