subject: The Sales Are A Minute Of Madness [print this page] The Boxing Day sales are round the corner and I plan to make the most of it this year. I wrote a list of things I need to buy from the sales which my family and friends find very weird but its my way of making sure I dont forget anything.
As I bought a new flat recently, I plan to buy all my furniture from the sales that includes new sofas, new bed and whole lot more. I also need to buy all the accessories for the flat, I need a lamp, a rug, curtains, dining table and my list goes on. I just hope I find everything I need because the sales are mayhem and everything disappears in a second.
Every year I go to the sales with my mum and sister but this year we decided to go our own ways, my mum wants to go with my dad and my sister wants to go with her mate. So I decide to go with my boyfriend, my best friend and her boyfriend. We also plan to make it into a double date; were going to start our date with breakfast, then do our shopping and end the date with lunch.
I was really hoping that I didnt have to drive us to the sales but things arent looking good. My boyfriends car broke down last week, my best friend doesnt drive and her boyfriend hasnt got a car. So I guess Im stuck with the driving, Im not looking forward to driving my Volkswagen to Aberdeen shopping centre.
I cant complain as it was my idea to drag them with me to the sales but they have no idea what I have in store for them. I plan to split my list in four and give each of them a section so then there is more chance of us finding what I need from the list.
