The British inventor responsible for the popularity of magnetic bracelets, used by millions for pain relief, has announced the launch of the world's first micro TENS bracelet.
The new invention replaces the need for batteries or mains power required by conventional TENS machines by using the skin's natural electrolytes to help generate a safe microcurrent.
Microcurrents work within the same range as the body's natural current and are more bio-compatible than those produced from any other electrical stimulation device.
The tiniest electrical current, measured in millionths of an amp, can turn off pain, operate vital organs and move muscles. Unlike normal low voltage currents used in the larger TENS machines, microcurrents are capable of penetrating the cell walls to stimulate healing, reduce the feeling of pain, stabilise ions in the blood which helps to maintain the correct pH balance and increase the oxygen content of the blood.
Microcurrents can also increase energy. ATP (Adenosine Triphosphate) is often referred to by biologists as the currency of life' as every cell in our body is dependent on ATP for the transfer and storage of energy. Studies have shown that microcurrents can increase production of ATP three to five fold, whereas low voltage currents above 5 milliamps can reduce the production. The new invention weighs only 20 grams and is smaller than a watch. The current, typically measuring 276 microamps, will not trigger the body's sensory receptors ensuring there is no feeling of the tingling' or discomfort often associated with conventional TENS machines.

In addition to generating a microcurrent the bracelet provides three additional natural therapies aimed at pain relief and healing including the latest design of Broderick's award winning, clinically trialled magnetic bracelet.
Sales are expected to substantially exceed those of his previous product which has sold nearly two million worldwide. Although the main target market is Europe and America, strong interest is already being expressed to distribute the product in China where the 1.3 billion population retains a preference for natural health products.
