A lot of provinces have laws that do not allow "driving" in the left lane, leaving it open only for passing. If someone's trying to join traffic onto the highway and you have room for space, move over to the left lane. This can help avoid a traffic incident or in some way make someone's day a little better.Be aware of heavy vehicles and their driving ways. Tractor trailers, dump trucks, and other large vehicles can't stop as easy as you do. Be mindful of this in the future you squeeze in front of a truck at the stop light. Aside from that, heavy trucks while on the highway will move slowly while going up large hills but accelerate their pace on the down side. This may turn in to a game of leap frog which may upset both you, and the truck driver. If possible get comfortably in front of the truck to avoid too much overtaking!Make use of your turn signals. I swear they are slightly used in a lot of cars, to think that most people don't use them. They are there as a guide to assist your fellow drivers on where you wish to go.
I guess this has been a shortlist of my pet peeves, but I hope it will help you have a better road experience in the course of your journey. Remember, we all use the same road and together we can make it safer.
