Engineering is a four-year Bachelor Degree course where admission is subject to an Admission Test. You can obtain a BE/BTech from the following
Indian Institute of Technology in Delhi, Mumbai, Roorkee, Kanpur and Guwahati are the most coveted of engineering colleges.
Regional Engineering Colleges such as Kurukshetra, DCE, Jamshedpur, Rourkela, Silchar, which have a common entrance exam.
BITS Pilani, Manipal College of Engineering, Indian School of Mines, Harcourt Butler Technological Institute and quite a few more are other primary engineering colleges
There are a number of other colleges in India and abroad available for which information can be got on the net.
Admission for a Masters Degree can be obtained based on performance and the score in GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering).
