It is the natural phenomenon that when a person reaches an elderly age he or she becomes dependent upon there children or friends for there certain needs so they either live along with the other family members under one roof or some of the elderly people stay all alone. So it is very essential for the elderly people to live in those places where there is very low possibility of any danger or any miss happening chances so the home safe should be kept for the elder persons in the house.

The first thing which can be done to avoid some nasty accidents at there houses only by keeping the way clean in the house that there is lower danger of the elder person getting in the way of any furniture or on slippery floor by which they can fall down and also by not letting any open wires in the house by which they can fall down. The home should be such which is very safe for the use of the elder people such as the flooring should be such which should not have the slippery textures and also the bathroom tiles should be kept very dry so there is lower chance for them to fall down and also the rugs and mats should be in there proper position and also last but not the least is that in the rooms of the persons there should be floor mats on the floor so that even if they slip they don't get hurt.

The other ways by which the house can be made home safe for the persons of above age is by having the proper lighting systems in the house so that it is very comfortable for them to reach the switch boards for putting on and off the lights and also be very safe for them. The other home safe features to be looked at are the matting on the stairs it should be very firm and tight or rather the matting should be removed at the night hours and also the grill should be there along with the stairs so that they can easily go up and down the stairs by holding the side grills along with the stair case.

The elder persons living all alone by themselves should keep there valuables in the bank or the money and ornaments can be kept in a depository safe at there own places in case to avoid any robbery chances for themselves and also they should not discuss there lock codes with any strangers so as to keep themselves at a very safe position.
